This listing is for one physical, ready-to-press DTF transfer. A shirt, sweatshirt, hoodie, tote bag, or other blank garment is NOT included.

You are purchasing the transfer only. You will need a compatible garment and heat press to apply the design.

(1) Physical ready-to-press DTF transfer of the selected design and size.

Your transfer will arrive printed on carrier film and ready for heat application.

A shirt, garment, or blank product is NOT included.

Choose the size that best fits your project:

SMALL — UP TO 6" WIDE
Ideal for youth garments, pocket designs, sleeves, small front placements, and smaller apparel.

STANDARD — UP TO 8" WIDE
Ideal for standard front, back, youth, and smaller adult placements.

ADULT — UP TO 11" WIDE
Ideal for larger adult front or back placements.

• Maximum width refers to the printed design width, not the size of the carrier sheet.
• Design height will vary depending on the artwork's proportions.
• Tall or vertical designs will naturally be taller than their listed width.
• Designs are proportionally sized and will not be stretched or distorted.
• Actual dimensions may vary slightly due to the individual design's proportions.

Example: An 8" wide tall design may be approximately 8" W × 11" H.

For best results, use a commercial heat press whenever possible.

Recommended starting settings:

Temperature: 300–320°F
Time: 10–15 seconds
Pressure: Medium/Firm
Peel: Follow the peel instructions provided with your transfer.

IMPORTANT: DTF transfer films can have different peel requirements. Do not peel the film until the appropriate peel temperature has been reached. If your transfer comes with specific pressing instructions, those instructions should take priority.

Basic Application

1. Place the garment on your heat press.
2. Preheat your garment for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
3. Place the transfer on the garment with the printed design facing down and the carrier film facing up.
4. Press at the recommended temperature, time, and pressure.
5. Allow the transfer to cool according to its required peel method.
6. Carefully remove the carrier film.
7. For added durability, cover the design with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet and perform a second press for approximately 5–10 seconds.

Always test a new garment/material before producing multiple finished pieces.

For the best results, we recommend:

• Commercial or quality home heat press
• Flat, sturdy pressing surface
• Parchment paper or Teflon sheet
• Lint roller

We do NOT recommend using:

• Household irons
• Uneven or soft ironing surfaces
• Steam during application

A heat press provides the consistent temperature, pressure, and dwell time needed for proper adhesion.

For the longest-lasting results:

Wait at least 24 hours before washing your finished garment.

Washing

• Turn garment inside out
• Machine wash cold or cool
• Use a mild detergent
• Use a gentle/normal wash cycle
• Avoid bleach
• Avoid harsh stain removers directly on the design
• Avoid harsh chemicals and fabric softeners.

Drying

• Tumble dry low heat or hang dry
• Avoid high heat

Ironing

Do not iron directly over the DTF design.

If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out or place a protective cloth/parchment between the iron and the design.

For best longevity:

Wash inside out + cold water + mild detergent + low heat drying.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on your monitor, device, garment color, and lighting.

Because DTF transfers are intended for application by the customer, proper heat press settings, pressure, peel technique, garment compatibility, and application are the customer's responsibility.

We strongly recommend performing a test press before applying transfers to multiple garments.

Print Empress Customs is not responsible for application errors, incorrect heat press settings, improper peeling, incompatible garments/materials, or damage caused by improper washing or care. 

Customers are responsible for following the provided application instructions and using a compatible garment/material.

DTF transfers are printed to order through our local production partner. While transfers are typically printed the same business day, please allow up to 2 business days for us to receive, inspect, prepare, and ship your order.

Orders placed after noon may be processed the following business day. Weekends and holidays may affect processing times.

Because DTF transfers are made and/or ordered specifically for each design, size, and quantity, all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or refunds due to incorrect size selection, application errors, improper pressing, peeling, washing, or garment incompatibility.

If you receive the wrong design, incorrect quantity, or a transfer that arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos so we can review the issue.
